Update data entry input status

The Input Status page enables you to effectively track and update the status of data entry for a specific company. By selecting a status option, you can indicate the progress being made in entering the company's data into the application.

To access the Input Status page, click Data Entry > Input Status.

Initially, at the start of a consolidation period (before data load) , the status is No input data for all companies. However, as soon as data is either manually entered or uploaded in the application (ongoing), the status changes to Input data in progress.

After you have completed data entry and justified all the figures, you can change the status of the company to Input data completed.

Edit input status

At different stages of data entry, you can update the status of company’s input status to indicate the progress you are making. For example, after you have completed the data entry of a company, you can change the status to Input data completed.

 Caution:  Once you apply Input data completed status, data entry is locked and modifications can no longer be made for the company.

  1. From the list on the Input Status page, select the company.

  2. From the Status drop-down list, select the status you want to apply:

    • No input data - No data has been entered in Intercompany Management for the current period.

    • Input data in progress - The data entry is in process. Status changes to this once you start to enter data.

    • Input data completed - The data entry is completed.

    • Input data approved - The data entry has been approved.

     Note:  Input status changes are also reflected in the Status column on the Dashboard.
