Point of View

A Point of View (POV) is a set of dimensions you define to create data views which in turn, determine the data displayed in the data area. On the top bar of every page is a icon that you can use to filter data displayed in the data area.

To access the Point of View page, click System Structures > Point of View.

Create a point of view

Use the following instructions to create a point of view. Creating a POV involves creating the top folder in the hierarchy, defining a POV criteria, and linking companies to the criteria.

  1. Click .

  2. In the Point of View pop-up window, enter the Code and Description to create a hierarchy.

  3. Click . Next, you will add a criteria to the POV.

  4. Below the panel displaying the POV you just added, click .

  5. In the Point of View Criteria pop-up window, enter Point of View detail code and Name in their respective fields.

  6. Click . This creates a second level folder.

  7. Next, you will select and link companies to the criteria. In the table on the right-side panel, select the companies to which you want to link to the POV and click .
