The dashboard

The Home page is the dashboard where you land when you successfully log into the Intercompany Management application. This page gives you a fast and direct access to the different sections of the application that are most relevant to you in your role.

The different widgets displayed on your Home page depend on your user rights and permissions. The colours you see may be different from the ones in this image. Your Administrator is able to customize this page, including the colors used for the Markings.

Widgets - charts and tables

The chart, filters, and tables on this page present users with an overview of the intercompany reconciliation process for the selected period, allowing you to interpret data very quickly.

On the top part of the page, you may have charts or graphs showing overviews of the marking process (by types, by quantities) for all companies for the current period. On the lower part is a table showing for each company, an overview of the marking progress for the period.

You may also have a widget (table) displaying Markings and their Difference types by count and by percentage as shown in the top left of the image above.

The company table

In the lower section, you may find a table across the page showing a list of the companies to which you have been granted access (dependent on your user role). Using this table, you can customize the data displayed on the dashboard for a specific company. All you do is, enter the company code in the Company Code filter field to get an overview of the intercompany reconciliation process for that company. The graphical representations displayed will be specific to that company only.

  • The table also shows Last Update date, and the Status of the data entry process for each company:

    • No input data - No data has been entered in Intercompany Management for the current period.

    • Input data in progress - The data entry is in process. Status changes to this once you start to enter data.

    • Input data completed - The data entry is completed.

    • Input data approved - The data entry has been approved.

  • In the Completion column, you will find for each company, a bar showing the progress being made on intercompany transactions by difference types and percentages.

Markings

The system runs a marking process, checking transactions recorded on both sides (debit and credit), and uses a marking type to describe the result of the check. Markings and Difference types are customizable and can be defined to suit the need of your organization. In addition, the administrator can configure the frequency of the marking process. For example, it can be set to run hourly.

Markings may include the following:

  • OK (marking for transaction amounts match)

  • ? - (marking for transaction amounts that need to be justified, transactions amounts with unresolved differences)

  • TID - (marking for timing difference - when transactions have conflicting invoice dates).
